Our garage shelving is available in four versions, and has two different depths, 24" (our most popular), and 16" for all your storage needs.

The system holds more than 1000 lbs. on each four foot section, which is more than any other system on the market. All of the metal components are industrial grade steel and are powder coated for durability. The entire Monkey Bar System comes with a Lifetime Warranty on both the product and installation.

Every system is custom built, tailored to your individual garage, and is not a one-size-fits-all like most other products. It's variety of high quality accessories really sets it apart and makes it unique in the storage industry. Another benefit of Monkey Bars is that the system doesn't take up any floor space, so you can open your car doors with ease and move freely around your garage.

Our 24" shelving is the most popular shelf and is the real "work-horse" of our shelving line. Â It offers the most flexibility and useability due to the 10 square slots in the supporting arm. 1" square Monkey Bar tubes can then be inserted into the slots to provide multiple storage locations.

By attaching our Monkey Bar hooks to the tubes, homeowners can create a "3-Dimensional" storage system by hanging objects in front of and behind the Monkey Bars. This capability is what allows Monkey Bar shelving to store what the other systems hold, in only 1/3 of the space. Talk about being efficient!

Although a bit smaller, our 16" shelving is no slouch when it comes to organizing your garage. This shelf is commonly used in garages with lower ceiling heights and can be mounted lower on the wall than the 24" shelf.

This shelf is also used in conjunction with 24" shelving and is often located on the side wall of the garage when space is limited.

Inverted shelving makes great use of some otherwise wasted storage locations in your garage. Areas such as over the head of the garage door and above windows and doors are often overlooked for storage.

When you have a need to get a lot of long-term storage items off the floor such as boxes and totes, without requiring the ability of hanging items, then this is a perfect shelf system for your garage. This product is often used in conjunction with other Monkey Bars shelving in the garage.

Monkey Bars has introduced Do-It-Yourself shelving in 2012.

The DIY kits use the same high-quality, powder coated steel components as our standard 24" shelving, and use a pre-cut, heavy gauge wire mesh as the horizontal shelf member in lieu of the thermally-fused melamine.

These kits come with two 24" brackets, one 48" front angle, one 24" x 48" wire mesh shelf, one 51" Monkey Bar tube and all mounting hardware. Â Hooks and additional bars sold separately.

Extension kits are also available.

How the Monkey Bars Adjustable Garage Storage System Works

Step 1

Take a Monkey Bar and select your desired hanging height in any of the 10 slots, based on the size of the particular item you wish to hang.

Step 2

Using the Spring-Loaded Locking Pin, push down and lock the Monkey Bar into place.

Step 3

Choose your desired hook to hang your item of choice.

Step 4

Snap the hook down in place on the bar and you are ready to hang!
